We are a continuation of a family owned & operated real estate company originally founded in 1948 by C.E. Purvis Jr. and managed today by a 3rd generation Purvis. In 1985 we formally established Purvis Property Management, Inc. and since then have prided ourselves as leaders in our local real estate market and the property management community. For the last 10+ years we have been active members of the NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers) community and stay current on the latest property management industry trends. Julie Sposito » Office Manager/Accounting

After graduating from college with a double major, Julie moved to New York for 7 years before returning home to Northern Virginia. Julie began her property management career over 20 years ago. Since joining PPMI in 2006 she has played a significant role in day to day operations and growth. Today her focus is accounting and maintaining client & tenant relations.

Kimberly May » Property Manager

Kimberly started with us in the summer of 2024, but she began her property management career 8 years ago when she helped manage Luke Family Homes on Luke AFB in AZ. She moved to South Carolina and became the PM of a 300+ unit luxury apartment community where she fell in love with this career field. Kimberly concentrates on handling all aspects of our move ins and move outs and assisting both tenants and owners with anything they need.

Jamie Connolly » Assistant Property Manager

Jamie joined our team at the beginning of 2024 to assist with our daily operations. Handling our maintenance requests is his primary focus while assisting in other daily tasks that help keep everything running smoothly. With an extensive background in real estate lending, he brings a detailed approach to our team

Melissa Gittins » Realtor

Melissa is a licensed Realtor with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining PPMI she handle a large portfolio of properties for Long & Foster and was instrumental in growing the scale of operations. Melissa is now concentrating on the marketing of our rental inventory along with advising our clients on strategies with their investment properties.

Casey Stauffer » Realtor

Casey is a long time Realtor with extensive knowledge of the Northern Virginia real estate landscape. He is currently our lead listing agent and also handles our lease renewals.

Eric Purvis » President, Principal Broker

Eric joined PPMI in 1996 and is focused on the development of the company while maintaining relationships with PPMI clientele both from a marketing and long term strategic prospective. As the current President and Principal Broker, Eric oversees all aspects of the company and remains dedicated to providing clients with professional guidance and outstanding services.

John W. Purvis Sr. » Founder, Past President

With over 40+ years in the real estate industry, John continued the legacy that his father forged. PPMI was founded by John as a continuing family business that enabled clients to maintain their properties for either re-sale or investment purposes. John retired from PPMI at the end of 2013 but his presence will remain with PPMI for generations to come.

Mr. Purvis built the Purvis reputation in the real estate industry dating back to 1948. His insight and presence in the industry was the foundation from which PPMI was built and enabled the future Purvis's to sustain and grow the premier service that he first established.
